Super Bowl sod for sale

New Orleans Saints fans looking for a special souvenir to commemorate Super Bowl XLIV have an interesting option available to them: A three-feet-by-three-feet square of sod from Sun Life Stadium.

NBCMiami.com reports that the sod is encased, freeze-dried, and displayed along with a photo of the field, NFL hologram, and a card displaying the Super Bowl XLIV logo.

A company called Stadium Associates is selling a selection of sod from the Colts' end zone, the Saints' end zone, the 50-yard line and the 25-yard line.
