The National Football League has suspended New York Jets LB Calvin Pace for the first four games the upcoming regular season sked for taking performance-enhancing drugs reports ESPN.

Pace says it was due to a dietary supplement and will return to action in early-October.

The Jets open the regular season in Houston and are listed as 4.5-point underdogs with the Total set at 43.
