With the NFL draft two days away, it looks more and more like the Detroit Lions will select Georgia QB Matt Stafford.

Citing a number of sources, ESPN reports that negotiations between Stafford’s representatives and the Detroit Lions’ front office are said to be intensifying.

Stafford is a prohibitive -2000 to be the first-overall selection Saturday.
